cap yoda's kit replaces the rubber bushings that the bolts go through to attach the shifter assembly to the chassis. instead of having the rubber flexing when u shift hard, the metal bushings in the cap yoda kit doesnt allow the assembly to flex when u shift, making it feel alot more solid. the grey's kit is also a good upgrade. replaces the chincy pins with heavy duty coter pins and u get new washers so it doesnt get thatn annoying click everytime u shift.

**** & Boots
Does that particular shift **** allow you to clip the boot to the bottom of it like the stock one does? I've been trying to track down an RSX stock 5-spd **** but haven't had any luck. Any pics?
Thanks,
Pol

No it doesn't. Then again, I picked up and modded a CTR shift boot to fit, and it's plenty stiff so it doesn't fall down - there's like a 1-cm gap between the boot and the bottom of the shift ****.
However if you're gonna go with the stock one, what I suggest doing is what I did when I had the stock boot and a cheap replica type r ****. When the centre console was off and the shifter installed, I took a couple of thick rubber bands and wrapped them around the shaft on the shift assembly, to hold up the boot by the collar. I then installed the console then the ****. It held things up nicely.

No, the Revo is threaded the same as a stock shifter assembly. ***** are mostly for dressup, but the Revo, due to its heavier weight, shifts a little more "positive" (for lack of a better word).
First off, I know this is getting off topic, but I think we're close enough and the thread is definitely acitve enough.
Ok, so I've done some reading on the Skunk2 shift ****, and I like what I've seen.
EDIT: Superfluous Question already answered in thread removed
Too many forums threads today(not just here) getting lost in the mix, thanks though!
Second question, can anyone recommend a good place to buy one? I've seen 'em for $50 shipped, is that fair enough? Seems a little rediculous to pay $50 for a ball of metal with some threads, someone is making a huge markup along the way, that's for sure.
Thanks to everyone for their great advice, I'm so glad to have found this place.
Best to all,
Pol

Hi all, just wanted to share, I installed my Revo Short Shifter, Kumosport bushings(cap was out of his) and Grey's upgrade kit, and I LOVE IT!
It's totally worthwhile, IMO, and anyone debating geting one should definitely go for it. Install was easy, thanks to the help of the how-to-remove-center-console DIY article found here. Now just waiting on a Skunk2 **** to make it complete. Very nice feel to shifting, tight throw, and very positive feeling when engaging a gear.
Thanks so much for the suggestions and especially the DIY on the center console. For the price, I'm very happy with this mod and would highly recommend it to anyone.
Happy new year to all,
Pol

i bought revo ss too from hondawerx.
i already got grey's and yoda's kits and am waiting for revo ss
im kinda not liking hondawerx's service..
he answered me fast sometimes but it has been like 3 days since i asked him about my order.
also, it has been like more than 2 weeks since i ordered and paid.
this is what he said 5 days after my order..
"From the time of your order to the time of your actual payment, the shifter
I had in stock was sold. I have another in transit to me do in after the
holiday. It will ship as soon as we receive it."
it is okay but the worst thing is that he didnt tell me anything about this until i asked if he already sent the item or not.
sad..thinking about if theres my fault about this problem..
