differences between sedan/coupe headlights

I have read on some threads that there are possible fitment problems with putting oem sedan headlights on coupes and I would just like to know if anyone has had any good/bad experiences trying to put sedan headlights onto a coupe, and what problems have you guys faced. Thanks alot.

p.s. I also know that it is more difficult to clear the sedan headlights due to the fact that there is a different type of glue to seal the headlights together, but I was wondering how much more difficult it is as compared to a coupe. Thanks again to anyone providing any information regarding to this post.

headlights are same. just need new connectors for light bulbs so there is differences between coupe and sedan headlights. clearing headlights shouldnt be too hard. just put it on oven. that should work out just fine. i used bathroom waterproof clear silicon, worked out great.

I thought the sedan lights were easy. I even used the original goo to seal them back up. Oven works great.

I never heard about the connectors before. As far as I know it the lights are the same. The Coupe headlights are easier to take apart though. I remember I was at a Tech Day and Nodnero (a member on here) used his bare hands to rip apart the lights. Mine however, required a blowdryer and about 2.5 people to pry and get all that gunk off. But I think they'll fit interchangably.

It would fit. It's just that the parking light socket is different from Sedan to Coupe.

Shave the sockets. Or just shove them in there and make sure they stay. Use duct tape, lol...
