Transmission Fluid

Just need to know what type of tranny fluid to use for 01 A/T Tranny. I have amsoil atf to put in but i lost my manual and what to make sure its ok

The Amsoil is rated for the following:

Dextron II,III
Mercon, Mercon V
ATF+ - ATF+4


Could any one tell me what the honda fluid is rated

you have to use honda atf, or else it will corrode your transmission, according to a honda tech i talked to

i put shell dextron iii in it, and i was forced to flush it all back out and put in honda atf(about 4 dollars a quart)

edit: i know the honda tech wasn't bsing me, because he is a masters, and he told me what other liquids in the car can be after market

power steering and atf MUST be honda or aftermarket especially designed for honda

coolant and brakes can be any, but no dot 4 brake fluid if you have abs
