anyways yes ive searched and searched but i couldnt really find anything specific.
plus im just lazy. sooo.
i have used mtec 2X bulbs before.
now that i sold my hids. i need some bulbs so i already bid and bought mtec 4X bulbs.
and i think i read that it melts the headlight housing?
can someone give me a clear answer on this?

i havent tried the 4x, but i had the 2x and they gave me no problems
i cant see how they would 'melt' the housings (maybe the diffusers)
they might do some damage to the harness though

how technically skilled are you? if you are using stock headlights, there is a possibility that the high current draw from the bulbs may melt the harnesses, an easy fix to this is to just use the power wires in the car side of the harness as your triggers for two relays. this way you can supply more power flow to the lights. PM me and i can help you with this more specifically.
