10,000 RPM Civic gauges
10,000 RPM Civic gauges
I was checking out the Hondawerx website and saw that their K20 Civic had these gauges

Anyone please know where I can get these?
What are they from?
CTR?
Also, anyone know where I could get an OEM Acura Type-S gauge cluster?
10,00 RPM looks cool on there.

sure there is, with Hondata, k20's are running redline around 8600 rpm, and with cams/springs alot of them have upped the redline the 9100 rpm (and these are us spec k20a2's, not JDM k20a's)... so a 10,000 rpm tach isn't that far off....

no its the "proform" shift light, I wouldn't go the auto meter route just for a shift light... gauges yes, but not just a shift light.... this is a stand alone unit with adjustment **** on the back side with RPMs selectable from (I think, I dont remember) 300-12k RPM
with autometer you would either have to buy an RPM switch to turn the light on (with additional cost for pills) or buy an additional switch with RPM selectable switch. neither of which are too cheap

Check out the pivot stuff. they have awesome shift lights. FLY is going to get that sequential shift light.

Guys I think the 12.5 redline tach is a photoshop of our gauge cluster. Notice the other gauges are identical to ours. Yeah. I saved it from this site a while ago when someone posted it. I've seen motorcycle gauges that go up that high, but I'm 99% sure that one is a 7thgen cluster that was photoshopped.
Dude I got you beat, my 600 shot of nawz pegs my 19,000 rpm tak yo.
Yeah thats has got to be photoshopped, the rest of the gauges are identical to the 01 and 02 gauges.
Damn that would be a surpise to be walking by a 7thgen and see that in there, then i would laugh at his ***.
BTW I saw an article somewhere about a built D17 that redlined at 9700. Ill see if I can find it.
The money in it would probably equal what it would cost for an S2000 though.

RPM switch (or window switch) that will work with our cars.
If you know of one....p.m. me because every person who I have talked with on
getting a window switch says that it will not work on the SOHC D17

its $64 bucks and says its for late model distributorless ignitions.
These things used to be like $100 or $120 bucks when I first saw them. Good deal there, but you might have to buy a realy for about $20.
