M3 side mirror help!

M3 side mirror help!
I just got my M3 style side mirrors today and they don't fit right. It seems the mounting positioning is off as they will not go into the factory holes. Should I just drill some new holes in the bases or what? Help is very apriciated!

NO!....don't touch those mirrors. U have a coupe right? Whoever you bought those from either sent you sedan mirrors or they're from 99-00 civic. Coupe mirror mounting brackets fit perfect.

Ya I figured it was the bases for the mirrors. I do have a coupe. Do you know where I could find new bases? They're made by KDC, any info is welcome...

I bought them used from a buddy that lives in Calgary, I don't know where he got them from..
