you don't need an adapter. other things that compliment the shifter are Grey's upgrade kit and cap yoda's bushings.

i don't see the need to spend money on these. they don't make a difference realy. they "stiffen" the shifting, but how does that help? what is that going to do for you? i like the little 1/2" of play, it makes for smoother shifting.

i guess, whatever though. they only cost like $6, so it's not a loss at all. my$.02

i got the dc sports short shift adapter, i think it just raised 2nd, 4th, and R up a little so you the length is shortened but thats all

No it changes the linkage so all the throws are shortened. I had the DC adaptor and really didn't like it. the revo is much better.
