Smile the dc tcs exhaust is the s@#$! baby

i love the way that the tcs sounds it's a deep comfortable tone , unlike those suckers out there who sound like high pitched queefs, even when idle. i think that your car should only sound as fast as it really is.

it sucks, now try to put on a upgraded rear sway bar, o i forgot, it will hit. the best exhaust is a straight threw... my custom mendrel bent piping with a high flow cat is 100 times better...

The rsx sway bar is good enough....I hate loud exhaust myself and it really dosen't matter how "straight through" your exhaust is...Your not going to get a power difference on our cars without major modifications to the engine with just an exhaust..... The TCS is the best sounding exhaust as far as a deep tone.

True, our cars is slow anyways not like its gonna be any faster temo . But I do have to agree wit temo that the DC sux. I had it and it was too quiet and heavy. Kinda looks dumb wit 2 mufflers and havin it go through all that piping.

I must have a older version of the TCS because I just installed the rear RSX sway and Greys endlinks this weekend and my exhaust touches the sway bar and rattles like a *****. I guess I am going to have to get the pipe bent or something because I can not raise it any higher without it burning my OEM rear lip. I have tryed
Don't get me wrong I love the exhaust ...Had it since november 01 (when it came out)
Does anyone have any suggestions? I love the way my car handles with the sway and would like to keep both the sway and my TCS exhaust on the car.

The only engine that need back pressure to run properly is a 2 stroke engine. For 4 stroke engines the best exaust is No exaust... (Straight pipe all the way) Misfireing and Backfires are a timing issue.

Injen cai, stock header and TCS exhaust on a manual ex will get you 127 to the wheels from what i saw standing at a dyno TCS is a-ok imho in terms of build quality, power and sound. The twin canister also is pretty decent because the split allows more clearance from the ground to prevent scraping. Looks a bit goofy and non traditional but the gains are there. Ever seen the mugen twin loop exhaust? It looks horrible like a pony keg with a few pipes jammed into it but its got some of the highest gains out there for a n/a setup.

Yeah it is pricey, I think it was like $750 at the time. I can get a tanabe titanium exhaust for 50 dollars more

yeah, i second that.

the DC TCS just looks wack, and a bit odd. skinny little pipe showing then sprouts out to a regular lookin tip. i'd go with anything other than a TCS exhaust, just on looks alone.

I have one (TCS) as well and am very satisfied. I was worried about the pi$$ed off weed eater sound but didnt get it, thank god. And yes, it has a great low deep purr to it, which I like. And as said before....

you mispelled your thread title.....it should have read "the dc tcs is s@#$! baby"

DC = APC

They are 100% pure generic brand crapola. At least buy from a japanese company for your japanese car. Companies like Skunk2, HKS, Tanabe and Apexi know more about the car since they race them.

Do you honestly expect that an american company who makes battery tie downs and oil caps is gonna care about the performance that their sheet metal exhaust is going to yield? Sounds like your are pure ricer material to me if you do.
