interior paint
interior paint
This might of been posted up before but could anybody help me to figure
out what paint brands are good for doing interior work like the dash and
panels. Also how many coats should I do of the primer and the color paint?
Also any other great painting techniques would be great. Thanks...

or u can use vinly dye.. the dash will dye nicely.. and its pretty permanent... no flaking at all.. ive had mine dyed now for close to a year, and my car has been exposed to all kinds of extreme weather.
the DASH?? Wow. I painted a bunch of my trim pieces to match my red exterior, and that was a week ago, they're still looking nice. Just be sure to prime them real well (2 coats) then paint (3 coats) and then get a clear primer (3-5 coats). BE SURE YOUR CLEARCOAT MATCHES YOUR PAINT!!!!!!!! THe first time I used an enamel paint and laquer clearcoat...not pretty. The stuff mixes and contorts and wrinkles and a whole bunch of ugly crap. THere's my $0.02. Also, just painting the trim (center consol, trim around vents, around door latches, and around power window controls) the same color as your exterior looks really nice.
