need help installing an indiglo emblem

i have an indiglo emblem i need to install on my trunk.....i want to wire it to my brake lights too......i was wondering if anyone had any instructions on how i can do this? thanks

Just use self-tap clips to splice into the third brake light wires. Match the black wire on the emblem to the ground wire on the third brake light, and the red to the power wire. Done and done.

if you take off the existing 'H' there should be two holes there.

Sorry i was in a rush - yeah you can just run the wires through existing holes. Then just auto-goop or double-sided tape it on.

Most of the aftermarket emblems come with stickystuff already, I wouldnt use tape on the paint, autogoop would work though. The main problem is you have to run the wires so they don't get in the way and they are long enough when you open your trunk. You have to run them down the side into one of your taillights, after that it is easy. Please post pics, I might be doing this also.....

my indiglo emblem's wires are too wide for the two holes that are already there, so i guess i'll have to drill new holes.....has anyone else had to do this??

If you drill, just be sure to use touchup paint around the holes and let it dry overnight. This will prevent rust.

nah......my wires will fit through the holes but the distance between the 2 wires on the emblem is wider than the distance between the 2 holes that are already there
