I wanna get a muffler, the nice ones that are chrome and have like a 2.5-3 inch opening. I wanna get one cuz my kit has a cut out for it and they look nice. Only prob that i got is the annoying sound they tend to make. I asked an accessories shop if a silencer completly shuts it up and the guy said it all depends on the car. Does any1 here use a silencer, if so; does it actually shut it up completly? And do most of u guys get a FULL exhaust system or just the muffler they weld on?

Well... my friend had a silcener on his del Slow. It was still loud... then he took it off... IT WAS TOO LOUD!!! SO it does help... louder than stock though. Just get a phat system, and it will cover it up!!!

i have a pretty nice system 2 infinity kappas running of a mono 900 rms amp, but i cant always blast music like in the morning for example. but what u just said turned me away from getting the exhaust even more cuz that sound is way to irksome.

i have a tanabe full cat back its loud w/o. but silencer will make the sound lesser but then u start hearing the sliencer hitting ur exhaust so u have another sound that buggs u.

yea, thats what i heard about silencers, they dont make it completly quiet. do u guys think if i buy another stock muffler and go to meinikie and tell them to weld it on so it'll be dual exhuast; then buy those chrome tips and tell them to weld them onto the tips of the muffler? anyway of that working cuz i think dual exhuast will look tight with the xenon rear lip. i never seen or heard any1 do this so do u think it can be done?

i got just the muffler. $55 on ebay. i like the sound though, the silencer does muffle it up pretty good, but i like it w/out
