they picture aint taht great.. but i would say crushed.. mandrel is smooth and even diamter throughout all bends

That's mandrel bent. the walls will thin out a little where it is bent. looks like it was streched.

Ok what is the difference (as far as gains) between an expensive catback system and buying a racing muffler with 2.25 inch piping? it seems to me that you would get the same effect as a catback right? Or is custom piping with a racing muffler considered a "custom catback"?

Well I'm gettin it done tommorow morning. I think I'm gonna take off the cat and go 2.25'' straight to the new muffler. Tell me if you dissagree with this before tommorow (Friday)

Well then if you remove the cat it will be what is known as illegal.

Also I'm not sure how many places will do that for you since it is illegal.

There is no ripples or kinks in that bend it's mandrel .

I've already got it done. I left my cats and resanator, and 2.25'' piping welded to the cat under the body. I get feel the pull when leading up to the VTEC and even more when VTEC is engaged. But I lost low end power, how can this be made up?
