quick help on painting kit... plz

what are the steps i need to tell them to do when they paint it. its urethane, they messed up the first time and didn't sand or anything, just slapped on the paint. they didn't even fit it and make the right adjustments before painting it. and it sticks out on one part so im guessing first would be to use a heat gun and push it both edges that stick out. then sand, primer, paint, buff? whats the order after they use the heat gun. or before the heat gun if they have to first like sand the paint off from the crappy job they did the first time. they didn't prime or anything it the first time by the way. thanx. helps appreciated.

please be like...

1. sand
2. heat gun.... etc or however it should be done. he said something about 3 coats of primer or thinner or something. so i dunno if that makes a difference. if its more then one coat of something, then specify it too. cuz if i dont tell them exactly what to do, they wont do it. thanx.

This is a little off, but what the hell kind of body shop are you going to? Those guys sound totally incompetent. Go somewhere else and tell them you have a nasty install you need fixed. I took my urethane lip into a body shop and left it there with the car in the a.m. I went and picked it up later that day and it was painted and mounted perfectly. The bumper was put back on a little off but easily fixed. They probably got the guy with the lazy eye to do it....
