Does taking off the Resonator or the Cat really make you faster, or Does it just make your car louder? Is it even safe? Would I regret it if I were to do this????

its illegal depending where u live, dunno about performance, i got a kamikaze header with no cat, supposed to hlep performance cuz its better flow,not so constrictive

You MIGHT get a horse or two from removing your cat - then say hello to emissions tickets (if your state has any kind of emission laws). You will also get much louder. You gain nothing but volume from removing the resonator. The latter two involve much hassle from cops about noise levels. Not worth the trouble, IMO.

Is the Kamakikaze header a 4-2 into 1 piece? how much was it? How were the horsepower and torque gains GreenNVicous?

Yeah I took off my resonator when I got my muffler put on there and it makes it louder but no hp gain...not sure bout the cat...wouldn't do it if i wuz you...So then If i wuz to get like a HP racing Header would I have to take my cat off or could I leave it on?

thats exactly what I was going to say, basicly. They make hi flo cats becasue the factory ones are somewhat restrictive, but the resonator just makes it so you dont sound like a mustang or somthing

hes not talking about removing the cat, just the resonator. i wouldnt do it. mines gone and i hate it. i removed the one of my mflow thinking it would make it louder but with the same tone. wrong. it sounds like and angry bumblebee now. and it rattles a lot. thats why im getting rid of my mflow and getting a skunk 2 or tanabe and then getting a downpipe.

no resonator here, i just have to wait for the cat to warm up then it sounds mean as hell

but it is loud, i will install the resonator as soon as i get a header/downpipe
