ak can only hope to improve
Go with the B&G cooler and I'm 99% sure that they are universal fit.

You'll love it!

Did you just get a new higher stall torque converter installed or do you plan on towing? Most of the time the stock tranny cooler thats built in to the radiator is sufficient. If your constantly putting your tranny under heavy loads then a additional cooler is a good idea. If your really concerned about tranny temp, perhaps consider installing a temp guage. When I installed a street/strip tranny(good for up to 450HP/450TQ) in my truck with a high stall torque converter I had to get an additional cooler installed for protection. I also wanted to monitor my temps so I installed an Autometer tranny temp guage and inline sending unit.

If I had to go with the two you mention, I'd go with the B&M LPD(low pressure drop) stacked plate style. Theyre tougher and allow cold fluid to bypass until warmed up. Tru Cool and Hayden a few other companies make LPD coolers also. Hayden is one of the more recognized names, they do alot of OEM stuff for car makers.

Also keep in mind that over cooling isnt good either. When the fluid is cold, its thicker and doesnt flow as well. Slow flow means parts arent getting lubricated as quick. The LPD style coolers are suppose to aleviate this problem. Hope this helps.

I'd still go with a LPD style.. that turbo is going to work your tranny pretty good I suspect. The more protection the better in your case.
