My mom said she just found this laying near where I park my car. Does anyone recognize this part? Is it even a part for our cars?

the bolt from stock exhaust is most likely very dirty, unless you washed it, i doubt its that spring bolt thing from stock exhaust. I am 90% sure its not the stock exhaust bolt.

Weird. I found some stuff by my car once too, like bolts and washers and stuff. . I dunno why or where they come from. . I just keep them around in case I figure it out. . I should post pics of some of my findings .. One peice I found inside my car and I'll be damned if I know where it's from .

this is too small to be a stock exhaust bolt off of my car. I bet its from another car.

Well its for sealing something... its got a squish ring on it. Just walk into the dealer with it and ask if its from the car and what it is. It may just be a random bolt.

It looks like a bolt to seal Something and attach something else to the other side. There is a spring, but it does not look like a spring loaded bolt or it would have threads around it. hmmm???
I dont think it goes to a 7th gen. Maybe something else. Unless it goes under the hood at the bottom part of the car. The only spring loaded bolts that I know of connect the header to the down pipe and the cat to the mid piping.
