exhaust burning kit, how to fix??
my magnaflow is burning my xenon kit and i put the kit higher up so it wont burn it and i have lower hangers on my exhaust already, how do i keep it from burning it? also, is double sided tape gonna be able to keep the kit on my car?
Damn, your hangers are lower and your kit is higher and your exhaust is still burning your kit. I dont know what else you can doe except take it to a muffler shop and have them bend you exhaust down somemore.
As for your other question, if you get the heavy duty double sided 3M tape, then yes it should be sufficient to hold your kit on.
If you are really worried about it you can always drill small holes, but if you follow the preping directions for the double sided tape, your kit should stick on fine as long as you make sure the fitment is correctly done.

the only way to fix the problem is to lower the exhaust more or maybe extend it outward a little to allow the gases to expel then cool. I would try lowering it more then maybe moveing it outward a bit
