Magnaflow exhaust question??

Magnaflow exhaust question??

I plan on installing the magnaflow catback exhaust. would you guys reccomend putting on stainless steel exhaust clamps or just the regular clamps. and am i right to say that the size 2 1/4 inch clamps. and if there are anyother tips you have it will be my first time installing an exhaust.

I would just use the ones provided by magnaflow until you drive to the muffler shop to get it welded. The clips hang low to the ground even if you turn then to the side.

exactly what Jeff said..... get a them welded..... if you lower you car as little as an inch, you'll be scraping speedbumps, driveways, etc. with those clamps....... welding them also allows you to have the pipe sit a bit higher too.... good luck, it's a great exhaust system and i've loved it ever since....

i'm sure this is a retarded question but do u mean weld the exhaust pipe where the clamps would be instead of using the clamps, cause i have a magnaflow exhaust and my car is lowered with godlines and it scapes all the time

Yeah, remove the clamps completely and have it welded instead..
