I don't know about other people spending $30+ on a pair of bulbs but I just went to a local autostore and got some generic Xenon bulbs with the blue tint for $12. They appear a lot brighter then stock and have a stock wattage so you might want to try something like that. 7 months encounting and they haven't gone out or blown up...

I have some generic H4's from pepboys, 194b's from autozone(because pepboys didn't have them) for the parking light(blue color), and blue 7440's from pepboys for the turn signals. All for about $30. I got 194b's because they were the only blue bulbs that I could find and they fit, and 7440's instead of stock 7443's because they aren't always on...strictly turn signals...illegal color but it's cool. The 7440's however, didn't fit at first. They have an extra tab on one side that I had to file off (carefully!!) to get them to fit. I hope that helps out your lighting needs.
one ebay seller that i talked with about bulbs offered me this..
"3 pairs of PIAA 194 XTREME WHITE ($9.99 x 3 = $29.97) and 1 pair (2pc for both right and left) of PIAA 7440 XTREME WHITE ($9.50).
total is 39.47+ 30shipping"
do u think its good??
and i saw mtec h4 for $14 and $8 shipping
do u think its good too??

In all honesty, most of these bulbs are made from the same manufacturer, so really it doesn't matter what type of bulbs you use from ebay or pepboys or whatever, its all pretty much the same, I have used bulbs that were like 75 bucks and ones that were like twenty from the local autostore and both were the same, its better to get the blue tint because after you clear your headlights you can really see a huge difference and also it looks cool if you look directly in the front when your lights aren't even on. They shine a nice blue light. I am currently using xenon blue bulbs from HID, they are pretty good and cost like 50 bucks well worth it, as for the parking light and the blinker bulb just buy blue ones from pepboys or whatever car store they work fine, just be careful though you have a good chance of getting pulled over, I got a 150 fine in Seattle for my lights!!!!!!

I use those eurolite xenonbulb, and they look really good, blue tint and bright, just what I wanted. I'll post a pic when I have a chance. They are cheap too, I think I paid about 35 CDN for 2 parking and 2 turn.
