Angry Car Got Keyd

Ok somebody thought it was really funny to key a big X into the back right corner of my car, on the side panel in front of the tail lights. I, on the other hand, didn't think it was very funny. It's not extremely deep, but you can definitely see it. The other problem is that I waxed my car and its white in the cracks now because the wax got in there. does anyone know any type of like touch up paint I could use to cover it up, and where I could get it from? my car's blue...

If its a big scratch, using touch-up paint will probably make it look worse and stand out more. you might have to get it repainted.

man, some people have NO respect for other peole's property. And it takes destroying property to boost their ego.

Honda dealerships have touch up paint, but they ALWAYS comes out off color, but at least it's not as noticeable as the plain scarth. You can get a nail-polish sized bottle for $5, or however much yor dealership wants to rip you off for.

find an airbrush place around you. the place by my house charges like $30 to fix scratches as long as they're not too deep.

you can ask a friend to hit your car and claim it to the insurance.

Scracth X all the way! I have the worse luck out of all of you. My car always gets dings and dangs and scracthes. Nothing Scracth X would not take care of for me. Scracth X is by Meguire and it is sold in all major department stores like Canadian Tire, Wal-mart....etc.

Talking How about this??

I remember seeing somewhere on the web once when I was searching around for car alarm systems, something very interesting.

It's similar to the flame thrower kits that go under the front doors of the car and spray within seconds after the alarm goes off or something.....It's the one where it puts an electrical barrier over the surface of your car so that if someone touches it they get zapped. I forgot how it was supposed to work, but sounded interesting none the less. It was supposed to be non-leathal....Something like a lot of voltage but small amounts of current. And you have to be making bare skin contact with it as well. Sounds kinda funny to me. So if they used a key on your car, they would in essence get the electical shock from through the key! I can't find it now, else I would post a link, but I will if I can find it.

Anyway when I found that I also found the one where there are mini hoses ran to your visors that can barely be seen (have to be looking for them, so after a pre-set amount of time when the alarm goes off, they spray mace at the front seats. There was also a special coating I believe for the seats so they won't get damaged for whatever reason.....

Anyway, funny stuff I think...I will post again if I can find them.

anything that dispenses mace, fire, or electricity are legal. i checked. plus the electrical system doesnt cover the entire car. urethane and fiberglass arent conductors. there are systems that have video cameras, but know matter what security system you have, if someone wants your car, they are going to get it.

I think you meant to say they are "Illegal" not "legal". Anyway, I know what I talked about is illegal to do to your car....Just thought it was funny. And yes of course if someone wants your car they will get it if they really want it. I just keep close tabs on my car. It's all about making it inconvenient for the theif.....To discourage them is the best defense.

well I work for a place called dent unlimited and we do touch up all the time. The trick is to use a product called remove-a-bull and it takes all the extra paint off the surface and leaves the paint inside the scratch. The only downfall is they only sell it to distributors or people that buy their system. but we do paint areas of cars and a fender we would paint for $125.00 w/out any bodywork. That would include sanding the sacratch flush and painting the area and blending into the rest of the car.

I think i read about the electrical system that you are talking about..but the one i read is like for rims. Like if someone tries to steal your rims or something, they would get shocked.

Hmm, maybe that was it, but I am pretty sure the one I saw was for the whole car...Dunno how they did it...Maybe it was for older american cars or something that was made out of steel....

Anyways . When someone messes with someone elses car I get pissed. . I mean if you have that big of a problem with someone go punch him. . Don't key his car. That's just retarded. Messing with something that is defenseless. .
