i have a custom 2.25" exhaust w/a magnaflow muffler, it's like a 6" can w/a 4" tip and it sounds really raspy when i get on it. what's the problem, i had a resonator put in? should i look at getting a smaller can or what? please help.

You should put a resonator on,
is your muffler a street or race series???

resonator...or let it break in ...after 500 miles the tone should sound alright

i already had the resonator put on and it help cut a lot out but it still does it when i floor it....it's suppose to be a street series and i have like 3000 miles with it already. any suggestions what i should do like a different resonator or a better muffler?

The Magnaflow should have a nice husky sound. Let it break in
