I have an 02 si and the throw is too long, i was thinking about getting the neuspeed short shifter and was wondering if anyone that has it could tell me how they like it.

I didn't really like mine, it does shorten the throw.. but its not something u'll remember in a day or two...

its cheaper than the likes of Revo/OBX (well maybe not cheaper than OBX)

but yeah.. its just a small CNC bracket that you mount on ur shifter bracket by drill a hole... and bolting it down... the drilling is so the adapter doesn't fall off... nothing difficult, they provide the drill bit. just gotta get a drill.

it works better than the DC one cuz it doesnt fall off from vibration, and you can slam it as much as you want and it wont break...

but I'd still recommend the Revo or the cheaper OBX replicas....

simply cuz they shorten the shift stick too... giving a more pleasing apperance if mated with the right ****, and the shorter shift stick will have an affect on the shifting feel too.

all in all though, you get use to these things fast and you'll want it even shorter one day (like, s2000 short. heh)

check out that Revo short shifter thread, I posted some pics in there.

I installed a Neuspeed, plus cut down and rethreaded my shifter, and have really enjoyed the feel, plus it looks good. The throws are shorter, but I think the height reduction was equally important. I recommend this route if you've got the skills/tools.

yeah I'd do that too if you can cut and rethread the stick easily.
