muffler??

what if i just change muffler?
i dont have enough money for catback, neither for manifold and etc
but i just want nice sound and nice back look
if i just change the muffler, will it be ok for the car??
im newb at car and im a ricer

That is fine, it won't hurt the car.
But you won't see any extra hp gains though.

any recommended muffler that sounds nice and not so expensive??
i dont like really loud sound but the low toned sound

you can get a decent muffler for around 70 bucks, but you wont get the sound you want unless you remove your resigntor. i did the custom exaust route. my friend owns a muffler shop, and got me a Magnaflow Muffler for 100, and installed 2.5 inch pipe from the "cat" back, it sounds nice now. total was about 150 for a "cat back" exaust.

Try a 5zigen .. you can get them on e-bay .. my friend has one on his accord and it doesn't sound bad

therlam R&D also makes mufflers ... i have their cat back system .. it sounds so good i nearly cream my pants

thermal R&D get my vote, cuz I have it. but only rear section, which they discountined. only avail. is HKS Hi-power rear section. check out top of this form, u will find some diff. brand of sound clips.

Man I still gotta say Thermal, I have the cat back and I lov eit so much. The sound, the look, everything. Its the best exhaust out there IMO.

Borla mufflers are nice. They might be a little expensive though.

If you want a cheap priced muffler that sounds good get like a Megan racing G2 muffler. You can find it on ebay. I also have this muffler and it doesnt sound ricey at all.
