Steering wheel control problems

Steering wheel control problems Hi,
I have an '06 EX Sedan w/ Navi. Something weird going on with the CH / VOL / MODE controls on steering wheel.
When i use the CH it turns up/down the VOL. When i use the VOL it changes the CH. Or both changes the MODE. Or when i turn down the VOL it goes up instead. Has anyone heard of this before or know how to fix it? I thought I'd ask here first before having it serviced.
I've tried searching for this issue, but no luck. Probably don't know the correct term to explain it.
Any help please.
