2010 Civic Cruise Control

I've had my 2010 Honda Civic for 3 years, I bought it used with 15,000 miles. It now has 70,000 miles. I do a lot of interstate driving and lately I've noticed that when I put the cruise control on, even though it engages, it feels like the car slows down. I have to have it set on 80 mph to even keep up with traffic. Any information will help, I don't know much. Thanks!

If your speedometer doesn't register a change, you can try using a GPS app on your phone to check your speed.

I have done that just to check myself, it shows that the speedometer is only about 1 mph faster than what my gps is registering.

You said the car "feels" like it slows down. To me, that's not the same thing as "actually" slowing down. How many MPH do you lose?
