2006 1,8l Wont Run
Hey Honda Elite,
I installed a new 5 speed in my 06 Civic, throw out bearing collar broke, strange huh, Then did timing chain and tensioner ! I starter her up she ran great! Better than when it was purchased! Problem was driving down the freeway and it quit running, just stopped! No knock knock,no broken chain and nothing left unplugged! Here is the crazy thing, I plugged my code reader in and got no codes, but it started and ran great! Pulled the code reader and it died! It will run as long as the code reader is plugged in but as soon as you pull it bam pow it dies!? Anyone else have this problem

I'll guess you missed a ground (wrong bolt or missed completely), it's really hidden and in the bottom of the plastic cover on the end of the cylinder head. You can't even see any wires for it, they are all hidden in the plastic.
