Service oil life 5%...solved...or not ??

Hello Civic owners

I have a problem with my 07 Coupe...some weeks ago my civic display the "Oil Life 15%" message

quickly I change the Engine Oil.....but the message was still there every time I start the car

so I change the transmission oil...and the message was still there !!!

and it drop to "Oil life 10%"...

So I change the last oil...the power steering one.....and the message is still there !!! AARRRGGGHH

well...I decided to live with that...but now the message change...it display:

Service oil life 5%

what the hell ?? there is another oil in the car beside those 3 ??? or its a "bug" that even changing the oils the message will stay there ??

help !! I don't know what else to do

some people should not be allowed to work on their own cars...

search "oil life reset"

key off, hold trip/reset button on dash, turn car on till it resets to 100%. It's in the manual as well.

That's funny, "KB09CIVIC". To "GTR-Mclaren": there is a button called "SEL/RESET" on your dash right next to your driver door, push on it and hold for about 5 second to reset. Do that every time you change your oil.

The reset procedure is in your owners manual. RTFM.

I will throw you a bone...everytime you do an oilchange you have to reset the life meter..as it runs off engine cycles and not the actually oil..
