Slight Hesitation or miss?
My 2007 Civic LX 5 speed (50k miles) has a slight hesitation or slight miss every now and then. (No check engine lights)
On light to medium acceleration in 3rd or 4th gear, it will feel like I am driving through a water puddle for a couple of seconds and then back to normal. (between 2-3k rpm)
Or while accelerating in 3rd or 4th gear, it feels like I am driving an automatic. By that I mean, I am in the same gear and it feels like the car has an automatic shift or slight jerk in the constant acceleration...(between 2-3k rpm)
If I drive more aggressively, the problem does not seem to happen.
This feels like a miss, but no check engine lights. There is no jump in RPMs on the tach...No clutch slipping on hills or at all, Fluid levels are good...new air filter, MAF sensor looked clean...
What do you think it is?
I plan on changing the spark plugs even though it only has 50k....maybe the fuel filter... ???

Re: Slight Hesitation or miss?
hmm, so slight power loss,
To me, (dont hold me on this) it sounds like a sticky throttle body
I would pull out the intake and inspect/clean your throttle plate
If that doesn't help, Someone else can chime in on the problem
Spark plugs, I would go with NGK Iridiums, they should have been changed way before 50k
And the MTF, go with OEM Honda Genuine MTF

Re: Slight Hesitation or miss?
That's what they say....
They also tell us that ATF in my car shouldnt be changed until 110k Miles,
Believe them? Lol
They usually change out your plugs during the 30k or so service interval, so you never realize that you needed it changed
