Loss of MPG
Loss of MPG
I have a 2007 Civic EX, Firestone performed some routine maintenance, oil change, trans change, tires, air filter and now I get about 320 miles to the tank (400 to the tank prior). I have changed the Air Filter, oil, tires, Plugs. But I am still getting 320-340 miles per tank.
Would an overfilled Transmission cause the problem

Hmmmmmmmmmm............... did they do a transmission drain / fill or a transmission flush? Another Firestone FAIL , get your fluid drain/filled at a more repsectable place.

Re: Loss of MPG
prolly used 10w30 oil in the engine, some unknown trans fluid , $1 oil filter, junk plugs, and crappy tires with high rolling resistance. i can totally see that happening. next time skip the quick lube shops. you get $10 worth of parts and pay $500 for them.
