Hi everyone,

We have decided it's time to pass our Civic on to the next generation. Here are the details of the car:

- I am the original owner; currently has 214K highway mileage. Auto trans. All original / stock parts (no performance mods other than standard maintenance). Garage kept up until 2011.

- Car is in excellent running condition. Starts with no problem, idles smooth, accelerates fine and no hesitation. Engine shows its age, but runs very smooth. I always kept up on regular maintenance (oil changes, air filters, wiper blades, etc.).

- Body is in very good condition. It has the minor dings and "door dents" you'd expect with a car this age, but nothing else. There is also a minor rust spot right behind the passenger rear wheel, but that's it (see vid for closeup). Car was repainted by Maaco in 2011.

- Underneath is clean. NO LEAKS.

- All lighting (outside and inside the car) and all dash gauges work fine. Headlamp housings replaced late last year.

- Replacements in the past year include: upper/lower radiator hoses; fuel filter; spark plugs, wires, distributor cap; tires; entire exhaust from front to back (cat, resonator, muffler). ALL new suspension (replaced in May 2013). This includes springs, shocks, upper/lower ball joints, tie rod ends, CV axles, rear wheel bearings, lower and upper control arms, and more. Car was professionally re-aligned afterwards. Also replaced all brakes (front and rear) and flushed entire brake system with new fluid. Tranny fluid just replaced two weeks ago.

- Minor upgrades include an aftermarket alarm with Remote Starter (GREAT for those cold mornings!). Mirror tint on the rear windows. XM Ready stereo system.

- I have a history of every receipt and a basic log of everything I did dating back to when we first got the car.

- All engine service and maintenance throughout the life of the car was done by myself (with the exception of timing belt changes).

There are really no major issues to speak of. There are minor things like: heater core hoses in the engine compartment are original and need replacing (starting to leak a bit where they connect to the engine), minor trunk leak in very heavy rains (needs new gasket). That small rust spot I spoke to above and in the video. For the nitty-gritty folks, the seat belt light on the dash cluster doesn't work. But these are the things you'd expect from a car of this age with this mileage. Otherwise I would consider this car in AMAZING condition.

I am located in Effort, PA (18330). I took VERY good car of this car during its lifetime and quite honestly don't want to let it go. So I continue to use the car for daily driving. Car is being sold AS IS with no warranty. I am in no rush to sell it, and will not entertain low ball offers.
