selling a pair of stock e55 bixenon projectors (d2s) in perfect condition with bulb holders. chrome bowl is like new, lenses are like new. has the hi beam solenoid tucked inside the front of the projector so they are more compact. solenoid uses a simple two wire + and - trigger at 12v to activate. they have one of the best, if not the best, hi beam mode of any projector. lo beam is also good with colorful cutoff. asking $110 shipped for the pair. i have no time to retro these...

Have a pair of like new philips 85122+ d2s bulbs with only several hours of use. asking $75 shipped separate or 60 if purchased with above projectors.

e46 singles for my current retro no hi beam. the e55 look way nicer at the cutoff and the hi beam is crazy bright. but i dont have time to start another project now.

Hi Gearbox, just like to get your opinion on how easy or not it is to retrofit an 05 Civic headlight? It's the longish type with 3 seperate columns (each for the amber turn indicator, low beam and hi beam). Haven't come across anyone here who have done a retro on this particular headlamp housing though. I am thoroughly interested in getting the lenses and bulbs off you but I would like to know if it's even retrofit-able into my 05 lights. Cheers.

04-05 civic lights are more difficult because of small space. i remember someone did tsx retro and he had to do alot of trimming to make it fit. im not sure e55 or other big projector would work. and really you could get away with something smaller like e46 or valeo because you still have halogen hi beam. crazyasian has e46 bi retro in 04-05 housing without the hi beam hooked up. halogen highs look very bright tho.

here are some beam shots of e55 projector. not from mine, but they should be the same if not very similar. you can also get the clear TL lenses from ebay and swap those on for a sharper cutoff.

here are the e55 projectors with RS type1 shrouds from ebay, same shrouds i used in my retro. they fit over the whole front half of the projector.

no shrouds. just complete projectors. 160 shipped final price for like-new projectors and bulbs combo. i will include one oem e55 shroud i have thats not in great shape but you can use it to match the size when you are shopping for new shroud or making fiberglass mold.
