I want this stuff GONE!!!!
Ok I have had this stuff for WAY to long and I really need to get rid of ALL of it.
-2004 civic ex head, 35K miles. The head is in good condition with low miles. The only issue is that it was misshifted and all of the exhaust valves have signs of contact with the pistons. Also two of the exhaust manifold studs need to be replaced. I inspected the valves while in the head and they don't seem to be bent, however there is a possibility that they could be bent since they did contact the pistons. This is a gread head for those looking to build and make more power. Asking $100 plus shipping
-Megan racing oil pressure and temp gauges new in box. These gauges are really nice gauges I just never got around to installing them. They are as nice as gauges 5x the price. I will let them go for $40 + shipping per gauge or $80 shipped for both.
-Razo shift ****. $18 shipped
-Rear brake drum knuckle assembly off of a 2004 ex (brakes and everything) I will part this out again send me a PM of what you need and your offer.
-Rear lower A-arms from a 2004 civic ex (one has a bolt seized in it) $35 + shipping
-Misc D17 engine parts: valve cover, coils, coil cover, intake manifold, and most other misc. parts so PM me if you need a part. All of these parts are best offer plus shipping.

Re: I want this stuff GONE!!!!
Was the previous motor boosted? Except for that bent valve, it sounds good. Valves dont bend from a driver mis-shifting.
How much is that to fix- I didnt know that honda sold engine internal replacements, at least majestic doesnt seem to?

No it was not boosted. And mis-shifting (i.e. 3rd to 2nd, trying to go to 4th) is one of the number one reasons for valves being bent. The over-reving of the engine causes them to float into the cylinder for to long of a duration and thus make contact with the piston = a bent valve.
Re: I want this stuff GONE!!!!
A valve replacement is not super expensive, the valve itself is only $12.00 or so, but there needs to be some machining done to make the valves seat correctly etc. Majestic has valves here: http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...28SOHC+VTEC%29
They are between 5.00 and 7.00

Yup, and a valve job isn't all the expensive especially since you'll be able to pull the head off the block yourself. If its just one valve, we're talking probably $50 plus parts - if even that. Just factor in the cost of new gaskets and seals. You can pick up a head gasket set that will have everything you need for around $50 on Ebay. I just bought one myself.

Wow... thats a serious underestimation.
If he bent a valve, it also means that it probably smashed a piston. If it smashed a piston, it probably needs a new one, which means it needs to be re-ringed. If you're ringing one, you're ringing all 4. So now its ~100-300 in machining only depending on if the cylinders need to be bored (they might, open decks love going out of round), and then you doing the rebuilding. You need new bearings, rings, seals, gaskets, etc.... you can figure that block needs an entire rebuild.
You give that head to any machine shop, they're gonna want to give it the once over, as they should. you can probably plan on them doing all the seats again, and the exhaust guides and all the seals. Couple hundred bucks at a minimum.
Bump for a good deal for anyone who's gonna totally rebuild it anyway.
Re: I want this stuff GONE!!!!
Boiler, it did not get the valve good enough to do any damage to the bottom end. There probabally is not even a mark in the top of the piston and if there is it is just a small smiley in the top. The car still ran after it happened it just ran rough. Honestly it may be something as simple as the timing chain jumping a tooth. I have seen the aftermath of what you are talking about and if I damaged it that bad I would have had to tow it home.
