Two H.I.D. kits for sale.....9006
Two H.I.D. kits for sale.....9006
I have two kits for sale, both are for a 9006 bulb.
First kit: $210
Xenon brand....8000k.....used for about 25-30 hours......bulbs and ballasts (9006)
Second kit: $260
McCulloch brand....6000k.....used for about 30 hours so far (currently istalled on my car) also 9006.
I own a 2000 Camaro SS, but I was told that the 2004 Civics use 9006 for the low beams now. If anyone is ineterested, PM me for more info. I don't have any pics right now, but I can get some, or if your in the area I can meet up and you can check them out. I am selling these so I can get a retrofit done. Hopefully by early next week. If anyone is interested in a brand new kit from McCulloch, let me know, I can get any K for any bulb size.

Haha, yea, you influenced me Mike. I found a guy in San Francisco, he does really good work. I'm paying the usual amount, I know you know how much that is. S2000 projector's and OEM 4100-4300K HID bulbs and ballasts. It should look pretty sweet, and I will be the first 98-02 Camaro that has it done, at least from what I know of.
Just out of curiosity, why do you say the McCulloch's are crappy? I've seen a lot worse, and I've seen a lot better. A lot worse would be a few no name barnds that I've seen come out of Japan, and the better one's I've seen are Philips, which are stock on a lot of top end vehicles, also pretty expensive. For the price, I think McCulloch's are good, and I think it all depends on luck. I've had good luck with all my HID kits as far as not burning out or getting water damage, or maybe it's because I know how to take care of them. I'm not sure which.
I also think 8000K is too high, but I know some people like the blue color they put out. But that color is the reason I went to 6000K. I never had any problems with cops though, I even had my lights make a cop turn his head away cuz of how bright they were and he still didn't pull me over.
