SOLD FS: Kamikazi Header & O2 Simulator
HEADER AND O2 SIMULATOR HAVE BEEN SOLD
Kamikazi header for 01-03 Civic DX/LX in high-temp black. Puchased new from Bigjoshracing less than one month ago, was on car less than two weeks. perfect condition.
Casper Electonics plug-n-play O2 simulator for 01-03 Civic. Puchased new same time as header. perfect condition.
Both for $225 shipped via UPS, lower 48 states.
This setup worked perfectly for me, and it will for you too. Awesome quality, looks great, and gives you a noticeable kick in the upper range.
Will also include 1 new unused factory exhaust gasket, the required 2" donut gasket, and the two additonal metric nuts required for installation.
Will only accept a money order, and items will ship only after reciept of funds. This complete setup costs over $350 new, so here's a chance to do it right for less.

hp gains?
Does anyone know the exact horsepower gains for installing a header on a dx. Due to the fact that it removes the cat, how much hp would it increase? only a few? Not sure whether its worth it. Anyone see a dyno of some sort relating to this...?

It's a pretty easy install. I'm no mechanic, and it only took me about an hour. You'll need to jack the car up, so that you can get to the bolts that hook the header to the rest of the exhaust. Other than that, it's just a few nuts and bolts-easy.
I did not dyno, but it felt like it was adding around 10 hp. You really do notice a much harder pull in the upper rev band. Other than that, it added a deep aggresive sound to my Tanabe catback.
