maybe my car, or its parts (SF)

OK, the wifey lost her job last month, and two days ago we find she is pregnant... so i gotta cut back and pad the bank account. This add is to feel around for interest to see if i should part out my car and sell it stock, or sell it as is,.. i prefer as is.... so here goes-

2003 Honda Civic EX 4dr, auto, sf turbo kit…
Silver on dark gray. Under 8k miles. Proper brake in with oil changed every 2k miles.
Upgrades: Professional titanium window tint all around. Konig Helium super lightweight rims, silver. 17” with yoko 215/40/17 es100 all the way around. (speedometer is accurate) Lowered with Tein STech springs. The car handles awesomely. Power comes from a Stafford Fabrications turbo kit, installed and tuned by Mike Stafford himself. I opted for the upgraded equal length manifold, the upgraded turbo, and alcohol injection. I drive at 5# all the time and the power is fantastic, and driveability is great. For higher boost, the alcohol kit turns on automatically at 6.5#, and high boost is set for 10#s of boost. At this level the car absolutely halls A$$.
Exhaust has an HKSa catless midpipe coming off the downpipe (but the stock cat section can just bolt into place when needed). Following that is a Magnaflow cat back.
The car is clean as hell, flawless, handles great, looks awesome, and is the fastest civic I have ever felt. Add to that- the car is behaved like stock, and quiet as not to draw unwanted attention. No check engine light even… the thing is nice, and if I didn’t have a baby on the way I would not consider selling it. Stereo has infiniti reference at all 4 corners, and an amplified 10”bazooka (the better of the two they offer) in the trunk.

I am located in Granada Hills CA if any buyers want to check it out, - still deciding on pricing, what do you guys think its worth? Any offers?

You should keep your car, then your daughter/son will grow up in style. It sounds like a really clean car. I don't think that you will get more than $20,000 for it. But I will ask around, see if anyone wants a turbo civ.

^^20,000? More like 12-14k. Not trying to knock your sale but aftermarket parts do not raise the price of your car. I think it would probably be better for you to part with everything and sell the car stock. I think you will do better that way

i'd say make the car stock to sell it for more, also sell the parts around to make even more money...

Stock civic sells for alot more than souped up ones.

Try and sell as is and see if some private party wants to pay more for the parts on it. Then if it doesn't sell, you could always part it out. Sounds like a sweet car, so I don't think you'll have a problem selling as is.

ok, i figure its worth trying, ill come up with a price monday and try to sell her as is, and if its not sold in about a month, then the parting out will commence.

I will post pics shortly, along with a price for the car, and possible prices for parts =)

Ok, did some math, and it seems to make sense to part it out... so here are the prices and descriptions... and ofcourse local sale prefered, but i will ship. And please try to remember how new everything is and that its all in perfect conditon.

1. Tein STech springs- $60

2. Magnaflow Cat Back $200

3. HKSA catless midpipe (fits EX, is about 2.5" mandrel, eliminates the cat, and replaces it with a non restricting resonator, also i welded on a catalytic heat shield so it will pass a police visual inspection). I will also include an O2 sim. $175

4. Konig Helium silver 17's, with Yoko es100 mounted all around (size 215/45/17, not 40 series, but 45 series, so no spedo miscalibration), i choose these tires by tread wear, low weight, and reputation. $750 with locks and lugs. Tires are like new-id guess 97%treat remaining,...

5. SF turbo kit. candy blue powder coated pipe. Equal lenght manifold upgrade (black). Turbo upgrade. Plus i have alc. injection upgrade, with seperate pump and custom tank (its real trick). Also my set up is fairly custom in that the fuel pump comes on with boost and is not on all the time, so fuel economy is unaffected if you baby the car, and the spressure switch for the fp is located in a black box along with the alc. on switch, with one lead, rather than mounting all the switches on the intake pump.. its clean. I will also include a sportcomp boost gage in a custom A/C vent mount.
Asking $2700 (remember, no delay in delivery, no build time required, etc.)
Also, note that if your local and have an ex, we can switch oil pans, so you dont need to drill/tap your own, as mine has a bung that is specially welded from the inside for the turbo oil drainage.

You can email me direct at estranho@aol.com
thanks guys
