No you do not need a turbo to install a TT. Basically, the point of a turbo timer is to keep you engine idling for a longer duration than it would if you were to just take the key out. TTs help to prolong turbo AND engine life by allowing time for oil to circulate, thus cooling it off. This helps to eliminate heat soak.
The Greddy and HKS, along with others, can automatically detect how hard you are pushing your engine and calculate the necessary amount of time to keep the engine running, saving you time and gas.

yeah what's the diff if you buy from anfmax or a vendor? it's still in new condition, which means you'd get an IDENTICLE peice whether you buy from him or another store/vendor. You'd prob get it faster though him too, and no I do not work for him lol...
