By passing engine harness

I brought a sand rail with a Honda Civic FI engine and auto trans. Car harness is all hooked up . Is there anyway to leave the engine and trans harrness plugged into the ECM and just apply power to the ecm and have a push button start.? Or will have to change out the FI system and put carburetor. Put power to distributor to fire plugs..

That looks more like an accord engine to me. Refer to picture below to confirm. It’ll show a letter (It’ll be an F or D) followed by 2 numbers (displacement), then another letter and another number.

Found code it,s. F23A5. So it,s a Accord engine. Was told it was Civic..thanks...now to get it running

unsure if the accords of those years did have anti-theft - civics got those in the 2001

I believe it has a type 2 immobilizer (7th gen Civic has type 3). I'm having a hell of a time finding any information about the different types.
