Installing an ignition kill switch.
Hello,
Long story short, I'm going to install an ignition kill switch on my 2003 Civic Coupe.
Page 14 of the following electrical guide shows that at the ignition harness, there is a 12 volt constant wire, a 12 volt ignition wire, and a starter wire. Can I use any of those, or what one in particular? Thanks

You’d install the switch on the wire that provides power with the key in the “Run” position. I’m not sure which one that is, but if you would like, I could do a volt measurement on my Civic and let you know which color wire it is. But I’m not sure why you would want an ignition kill switch. Can’t you shut the engine off by turning the key off? Or is this for EOC or something?

It's suffering from the known tumbler issue. The tumblers for the doors and trunk are shot. I've already had to replace the ignition assembly at about 150,000 Km, and now at 250 Km, the ignition tumblers are gone again. The key will barely go in or out of the ignition, but when I finally can get it in, it turns back and forth with no problem. So, I'm just going to leave the key in the ignition, hence the need for the kill switch.
I think I'll try the white wire first, as according to page 14 of the link I posted, that's the 12v constant to the ignition. Would you agree?

why don't you just remove the tumblers from the lock so it looks normal and keeps honest people honest? i think i read a post here about someone doing that a day or two ago

1) It looks like a real PITA to do, along with a few things that can easily mess up.
2) The crappy tumblers have pissed me off so much that I didn't want to touch one ever again
2) The fuel pump kill switch was way easier to do.

I read about that and didn't do it for 3 reasons:
