so i just noticed that when i turn may car off the radio light stays on. the radio is not on the just the lights on the face plate. it's a alpine and i have had it for a few years. ... does anyone have the or had this problem...
im kinda a little wierded out buy this.

um are your dash lights on too? seems like something wasnt connected properly or came loose. did it just happen? disconnect the illumination and dimmer wires if you have them. if theyre hooked wrong, it may be the problem. you dont really need it anyway unless you want the deck to dim when dash lights come on.

You got it hooked up wrong, too many people just wire blue-blue, red-red, white-white without reading what it says on the wire jacket. With my old headunit, I had to wire blue to yellow and white to red or something like that. Your switched/ignition wires should be together and also your battery/constant wires should be together. And black-black SHOULD be your ground.

i don't think that is the problem, i mean i just now noticed it and the deck has been in the car for a few years. it could be possable that i just never noticed it befor.... **** im kinda lost
