could a dead battery cause this?

i recently reinstalled my amp for my subs and it didnt work so i sia dill just take it to a place and get it looked at. but tonight my battery died and i was thinking. could my dead battery be why my amp was not working.all wiring was done professionally and worked before i sent my amp out to be repaired for a bad ground inside the amp, could to low of a voltage in my battery be the source of why the amp doesnt turn on?
