Need opinion on replica wheels

http://www.ebay.com/itm/160777505446...84.m1497.l2649

^^^^View wheels^^^^

I recently bought these on ebay not realizing they were "compatible wheels". anyone ever use replica wheels?? the listing says they are to OEM standards and what not. Now I haven't received them yet but i' highly considering returning them. I'd rather get a cheap set of konigs or something compared to some cheap replicas...lmk what you guys think

Re: Need opinion on replica wheels

I think everyone around here has a healthy fear of replica wheels. Personally, if I knew they were coming from Keystone or something like that I would probably be OK with them but aside from that, they are an unknown quantity. If you decide to keep them, keep an eye on them.

Re: Need opinion on replica wheels

My Rotas are replica wheels, but they've built up a decent amount of reputation.

If I were to find OEM rims, I'd prowl craigslist for a used set.

They just came in and they are actually keystone. Still returning though. Thanks for the response. This is my first time with rims are keystones a decent replica manufacturer?

They have a strong presence in the aftermarket body parts market, while I would much rather prefer an OEM part I trust Keystone well enough; I've used them in the past.

I've decided to keep these. I looked into "Keystone" and I read some good reviews about them. You think I would still need new LUGS going from hub caps to alloy wheels?

Re: Need opinion on replica wheels

They look good for replica wheels. Depends what kind of lug nut they use. They will probably use the OE style since its a OE replica but you may want to check with the manufacture.
