Newbie here, need help w/ wheel size & drop on 02 civic lx

Newbie here, need help w/ wheel size & drop on 02 civic lx
My goal is to drop my stock 02 civic lx and put 16x7-7.5 wheels on it. I want to keep some room between the tire and wheel well though as this will be my DD. Would a 1'' drop, 16x7 wheel size, and 205/55 tires rub? How much space would that leave between wheel well and tire?
