Help - rear wheel bearing 2000 EX Civic Sedan

Help - rear wheel bearing 2000 EX Civic Sedan
I've got a 2000 Civic EX Sedan - Driver's side rear when I grab the tire has play in it. I figure it could be a bad bearing - is it hard to replace it? I called Honda and they only sell the bearing and hub as a complete unit. Can I not just replace the bearing itself?
Can any help me with how to do this?
