Found these rims. Yep, these are the ones for me, without a doubt. They fit all my criteria: Available in 16", grey center, five fat spokes, NO rivets - fake or otherwise
, a REAL lip (polished or machined). Now I find I have to ask.... the front will be the standard 16x7/40mm + 205/45/16, but the rear? These are available in 16x8 with a little less offset (pretty sure it's 25mm). How much of an issue do ya think it will be? Maybe 225/40/16 or 215/45's if the 225's won't fit. They're going on an EG hatch - NOT real low - maybe 1.5-2".
I don't care that much if I can't have the 8-inchers, but still think the staggered look would be bomb. They're actually pretty subtle, which is precisely what I'm going for - no body mods/lips/wing, no riced-out lights or carbon-fibre anything. Essentially a stock body sitting a little lower (and the required window tint). These rims will be the most serious cash I plan to put into mods... except for that pesky "horsepower" thing.
