Best performance break pads for 2005 Civic Coupe?

I'm a part time delivery driver so I have lots of hard stops and quite frequently too.

I'd like to know what would be some quality brake pads to replace my old ones.

Thanks
- Paul

I have Hawk HP Plus, and love them. I have also used PBR/Axxis Ultimate pads, but those create a ton of brake dust.

I was looking at their site, would Hawk HPS be a better choice for reliable, quick stopping brake pads?

Yes, that would be a better choice. And I was mistaken, I am currently using the HPS pads, which I love. I do a ton of city driving with abrupt stops, and they have not let me down. My previous set was the HP+.

Re: Best performance break pads for 2005 Civic Coupe?

Ah great, thanks a bunch.

Those will be the ones I'll order- I used OEM pads for 30k, then an unknown brand for the next 30k. My shop picked the unknown brand and likely picked the cheapest they could find.

I wanted to pick the brand this time so I wouldn't end up with awful brakes like I did last time.

Cheers.
