The wheels I ordered only included some plastic rings in a seperate box with no instructions, and they don't seem to fit in the center of the wheel unless they are supposed to go behind the center. I'll call the place on Monday to find out, but wonder if that's typical.

They had weekend hours so I called and found out that those are "hub centric rings", and that the wheels should have included center caps. Yes indeedy.

ya the plastic rings go between the rim and hub. centercaps should be included otherwise they cost a bundle to buy separately.

Anyway I guess they're in the mail. In the meantime I was looking at DIY center caps, and considered using "conduit caps" but none happened to be the right size, so I was trying to think of something else when my dog dropped a racquetball next to me, and I thought "sure, why not"... and since they fit I ordered some black racquetballs in case I lose my center caps (or don't like them as much).

Oops, I just noticed that I put my rear tires on backwards, so I'm glad I took that picture!
