Shaking steering wheel when braking is most likely warped front rotors, have the run out & thickness checked to see if they can be machined. If they will be at or below discard thickness after machining then you will need to buy new rotors.
Shaking steering wheel at highway speeds is most likely a wheel balance or tire issue, meaning that you may need to have your wheels rebalanced (may have lost a weight) or have a belt separating in the tire, at which you would have to replace the tire. If it started shaking at lower speeds then seemed to lessen at higher speeds, then it would most likely be a bent rim.
