My steering wheel shakes when I brake

Hey guys, do I fix this by having an alignment done, or are my disc brake rotors bent? Also not always but sometimes my steering wheel shakes pretty good when I go over 65 or 70.
Thanks

Re: My steering wheel shakes when I brake

Shaking steering wheel when braking is most likely warped front rotors, have the run out & thickness checked to see if they can be machined. If they will be at or below discard thickness after machining then you will need to buy new rotors.

Shaking steering wheel at highway speeds is most likely a wheel balance or tire issue, meaning that you may need to have your wheels rebalanced (may have lost a weight) or have a belt separating in the tire, at which you would have to replace the tire. If it started shaking at lower speeds then seemed to lessen at higher speeds, then it would most likely be a bent rim.

My 92 hatch did this a few months after droppin it. Had 2 do the front suspension bushings. Looks cool, handles good, but it will chew the shit outta your front end parts
