My brakes are too sensitive after it rained

It rained yesterday and now my brakes stop the car too fast and also squeak a little.
Is this normal and will they go back to normal in a little while?

are they rusty? usually it should go back to normal after a day of driving/braking.

Pump the pedal a few times, and then do a few hard stops... should reset them back to feeling normal again

I hate when this happens, but it goes away really fast.

does anyone get that sticky caliper noise like when you release the pedal just a bit after stopping, it makes a grinding sound?

I get grinding from my OEM brake pads when they are hot. They get little cracks in them over time and when they get hot they make a grinding sound if I hit them too hard. OEM pads are shitty quality, but they stop really good thats why I keep buying them.

lol, you must be doing some hard braking. i've always used OEM pads and have never had this problem. but you're correct, they do stop very well and that's also why I keep buying them.
