tire recommendations please!

hey,

i'm in the market for a new set of tires to wrap my new 16''s. currently running 215/40/17 and i'm aiming to get 205/45/16 on my new rims. looking for a reasonable, budget, all season tire. looking into kumho asx and others. could anyone recommend me a set with my desired preferences? perhaps a short review as well? thanks in advance

if you want fairly decent tire (for average driving), fusion HRi is a good one.

I don't have a review, but I've heard good things about the Kumho ASX series, and BFGoodrich's gForce series has gotten great reviews if you don't mind spending a little bit more for higher quality. Tires aren't something I'd cut corner on, they're the most important part of the car.

yeah, they affect how well you can corner, accelerate, and brake. its really a big difference depending on what you get.

i'd like to spend a good amount on tires but i've only really got about $400 for any set shipped to my door.

i can't seem to find a set of the fuzion hri's in 205 45 16, only 50's

Re: tire recommendations please!

The right size is 205/50/16, unless you want smaller tires.

Re: tire recommendations please!

that's what i figured but i'm planning on going slightly lower

so after lurking around countless forums, tire faqs, picture threads, and numerous review sites, i order a set of kumho asx in 205/45/16 so hopefully those'll be good.

thanks again for those who contributed
